My Current Favorite Songs

Sunday, February 28, 2016
Normally, I listen to music when I am doing just about anything. However, the worst feeling (at least to me) is when I run out of new songs, and listen to the same stuff all of the time (which eventually gives me a headache).
Therefore, I have decided to share some new (and old) favorites!

Stuffed Peppers

Saturday, February 27, 2016
Last week I saw this really cool Betty Crocker video, giving a simple way to make these great stuffed peppers! When making dinner, every now and then I like to shake things up and try something I have never made before, which was these stuffed peppers today!

Drom Necessities

During the process of hearing back from all these schools I have applied to, it never really occurred to me that I have the opportunity to re-design a whole (or half.. or third..) of a room to myself.

Therefore, I did some research on small things to spice up my dorm, and yours too (or even your apartment!).

Enjoy decorating, I know I will!

London, England

Although we have been to London many times before, this little trip was so exciting! We decided that instead of flying out of Edinburgh, we would fly out of London so we could spend two days there! Although we have seen the famous sights before, we revisited them to get your typical London pictures, and had the most perfect brunch at the Aubrey both days! You can never get enough of London!

Edinburgh, Scotland

When we left for Scotland, I really did not know what to expect. I assumed that it would be like Ireland, but I was completely wrong! Although it was bitterly cold, down pouring every day that we were there (it even ended up snowing at some points), the grey skies called for beautiful pictures! The ambience of the charming town simply took our breath away!

Having never been to a Muslim country before, it was hard to quickly turn from wearing dresses to wearing jackets and pants in the scorching heat. Most Muslim countries, women dress very conservatively, and tourists are recommended to dress accordingly. However, it was something that we quickly got used to, and I happened to have fun with! Aside from the different ways of dressing, my family and I experienced many exciting new things in Istanbul! We witnessed what life is like outside of America first hand because we decided that we did not want to stick strictly to the tourist things and immerse ourselves more in the Turkish culture. We learned many new things that were interesting; one being the lack of education due to the pressure placed upon the children in continuing the family business at a young age. Other than that, we also explored the wonderful Grand Bazaar, with walls overflowing with rugs, spices, fake designer items and so much more. All in all, Istanbul was truly amazing, and I definitely want to go back. Alike to Greece, it was rich with culture and history, and we never found ourselves bored!

Dublin, Ireland

When I was younger, I used to go to Ireland for the holidays, but when my sisters and I started school we stopped that tradition. Instead, I go during the summer for a month now. However, as mentioned before, this year we changed things up and went for only four days in the summer, and came back for Thanksgiving. It was so amazing to see all of my  family for the holidays!

Athens, Greece

Although my family and I only stayed in Athens for two days, we surprisingly were able to see most of the larger sight seeing destinations! The city of Athens is insanely rich with a great historical background. In Athens, I learned even more about the famous Greek Gods than I ever did in school. Unlike the Greek Islands, Athens really embraced Greek culture, which was exciting to see!

Originally we had planned to stay in Santorini for just four days and then head off to Mykonos before going to Athens. As you can see, the amazing island quickly changed our minds within an hour after walking off the ferry! My family and I could not have stayed in any better of a resort, sitting upon side of the cliff, with our own presidential suites. Waking up to the view of Santorini never got old! I have been many places, and Santorini was definitely one of my favorite!
